Ramjas College, Delhi University Overview
Ramjas College is one of Delhi’s oldest institutions, having been founded in 1917 by Rai Kedar Nath, a prominent educationist and philanthropist. The College, which began in the modest environs of Darya Ganj in Old Delhi, now boasts a huge campus, state-of-the-art facilities, and a distinguished staff of scholars trained at major Indian and international institutions. Ramjas believes in a comprehensive approach to education that extends beyond academic achievement and practical training. The College encourages all students, regardless of gender, caste, religion, or physical limitations, to join us in creating a diverse and vibrant community.
Faculty, students, and support staff have access to a wide selection of courses, extracurricular activities, and technologically advanced facilities at the College. Each individual is encouraged to look beyond academic and administrative disciplines to investigate and intervene in the greater interests of the Ramjas Community, which lives on engagement and a willingness to explore new horizons.
