Army Institute Of Education, New Delhi Overview
Under the auspices of the Army Welfare Education Society, the Army Institute of Education (AIE) was founded in August 2003 with the goal of offering pre-service teacher education to Army personnel’s dependents. On July 23, 2013, the Institute relocated from Delhi Cantt to Greater NOIDA and is now located in Plot M-1, Pocket P-5, Greater NOIDA, Gautam Budh Nagar (UP), 3.5 kilometres from Pari Chowk. Public transportation connects the city to Noida and Delhi.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) in Delhi is associated with the Army Institute of Education. Its Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) programme is accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and its B.Ed. The Special Education (Learning Disability) programme is accredited by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). NAAC accreditation and ISO 9001:2015 certification are both held by the Institute.
