Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering, New Delhi Overview
The Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC) in Wazirpur Industrial Area, Delhi, and the Hi-Tech Vocational Training Centre (HTVTC) in Okhla Industrial Area, New Delhi, were established with the technical and financial assistance of the Governments of Denmark and Italy, respectively, with the goal of contributing to the development of industries in and around Delhi by providing trained manpower for machining and manufacturing of sophists. These centres operate as distinct societies, each with its own governing council and general body, all of which were established under the Societies Registration Act of 1860.
The TRTC and HTVTC organisations have merged to become the Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering (DITE). DITE began operations on November 28, 2007, and is based in Wazirpur Industrial Area and Okhla Industrial Area as Campus I and Campus II, respectively.
