Indraprastha College For Women, (Ip) New Delhi Overview
The University of Delhi’s Indraprastha Institution for Women (founded in 1924) is the city’s oldest college. It is set on a magnificent campus that is a recognised heritage property and a symbol of Delhi, and it was founded as part of a statewide movement for women’s education and empowerment. It has roughly 3500 students enrolled in its undergraduate and graduate programmes. The College provides a diverse curriculum that encourages integrative study in the Humanities, Mathematical Sciences, and Commerce streams. It has an active Internal Quality Assurance Cell and was awarded Grade ‘A’ accreditation (IQAC).
A robust Diversity Integration Program is part of the College Student Services. It operates on the basis of a need-blind admission policy. The College is barrier-free, with an Enabling Unit (EU) and Equal Opportunity Cell “Under One Roof” (EOC).
